Senior Developer

Designation: Senior Developer Location: Dublin, Ireland Salary: €45000 to €55000 per annum Last Date: January 31, 2012 Experience: 4 to 7years Job Description: We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced IT professional to join our development team working for a leading Bank. This individual will be responsible to application development and maintenance on Mainframe. RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible to develop and implement critical projects for the Bank in mainframe environment Responsible and accountable for any assigned mainframe development and maintenance activities Accountable for the effectiveness, quality and timeliness of issues resolution Act as an on-site co-ordinator for an offshore delivery Assist in root cause analysis and resolution of problems Provide data management analysis Responsible for application releases Deliver training to team members in support of enhancements and production fixes Create and maintain documentation for all batch & online processes Identify opportunities for business process improvements Continuously improve business knowledge and systems analysis skills and competencies May be required to provide 24x7 on-call support on a rotational basis QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree or higher strongly preferred Minimum 5-10 years experience in handling mainframe projects.
